Our lodge provides a unique, memorable and affordable DYI style wedding venue and accommodation solution for up to 58 people. Set amongst the trees of our beautiful rainforest, Wangat Lodge is a truly spectacular setting for your special day.
The natural surroundings are the stand-out feature providing all the luxury you’ll need. The accommodation, though humble, is comfortable and full of character and the lodge hall a perfect canvas for you to transform into your picture-perfect wedding.

Huge outside covered deck (12 x 10 meters) sets your wedding among the beautiful tree tops!

Gorgeous photo sites at the river edge, on the Bridge of Silence, and among the forest.
Large indoor communal area can be set as:
Dining tables for 70 people,
or informal dining tables and couches for cocktail file.
The area also includes a beautiful wood burner heater for a cosy winter wedding.
Fully equipped commercial kitchen with 6-burner hob, commercial multi tray oven , 2 large fridges, toasters, microwave, hot water urn.
Large gas BBQ on deck.
Accommodation:
Bunk style accommodation for up to 46 people (in 10 rooms).
Cottage accommodation for up to 12 people. (With Melia as a perfect romantic Honeymoon cottage; and Clancy as a ideal in-law or bridal party cottage)
Doonahs, blankets + pillows provided. Guests are required to supply their own sheets, pillow slip and towel. (Bedding provided in cottages).
A ‘Morning after’ guided bushwalk is included.
Beach volleyball / badminton court available for entertainment.

$4990/wkend (10am Fri – 4pm Sun)
Extra night Lodge - $1720 (cottages added separately).
Cottages
Melia and Clancy are included as standard in every wedding booking.
Gumnut Hut can be added separately (depending availability) at $200/night
All cottages can be added for extra nights as per standard cottage rates (depending availability).
