Wangat Lodge is a rare and special rustic venue for DYI events like reunions, special occasions, nature-connection events, training, retreats, team-building and workshops. A perfect solution combining venue and accommodation in a spectacular setting, You do the rest!

The peaceful, natural surroundings enables participants to switch-off, energise and focus on the task at hand allowing for a more meaningful, rewarding experience.

Located just 1.5 hours from Newcastle, 3 hours from Sydney and 20 minutes from our local awesome town, Dungog.

Amenities

Bunk style accommodation for up to 46 people, in 10 separate rooms.

Doonahs, blankets + pillows provided (guests are required to supply their own sheets, pillow-slip and towel)

Fully equipped commercial kitchen with 6-burner hob, commercial-sized oven, 2 large commercial fridges, toasters, microwave, hot water urn. LOTS of pots, pans, woks, baking trays etc. And almost every utensil you can think of! 

Large communal area with dining tables, couches, wood burner, table tennis and natural/social history library.

Art-works and nature-posters decorate the walls.

Guided walks and other nature activities included as part of all weekend Lodge bookings. Please contact us to discuss guided walks/activities/team-building for midweek bookings.
