Charges for Camps

SCHOOL GROUPS
Please note that one night stays are subject to a 50% surcharge.

1. School Groups on LightFoot Programs (per person per night) for primary and secondary schools.

Subject to minimum charge (27 or fewer persons) per night

Note reduced rates apply to Feb, May and June. Quotes on request.

The charge covers both accommodation and the full-time involvement of Wangat Lodge staff in designing and running, in cooperation with teachers, all aspects of the program.

2. School Groups on self-run Curriculum based programs (per person per night)

Subject to minimum charge (27 or fewer persons) per night

Lodge staff for guided bushwalks or other activities.

$30 per hour

3. School Groups on a day excursion (per person)

Subject to minimum charge

  $500

Please note that under 1 above, all teachers are carried free of charge.  In 3 above, two teachers are carried free of charge. 

GST does not apply to curriculum based programs.  If your program is NOT curriculum based we will add 10% GST to the above rates.

DEPOSIT

A deposit of 25% is required for confirmation of bookings. Deposit is refundable if cancellation is received not later than twelve weeks in advance of arrival date.

CATERING (From 1 Jan 2010)   Prices include GST.

While schools may utilise the comprehensive kitchen facilities provided to prepare their own meals, full catering can be arranged for whole-Lodge groups.

For three meals rates are per person per day;

Primary school children and staff under 25 people

High School students and staff under 25 people

High School students and staff 25+ people

$28.50

University & Adults (on application)

Add $4 per person per day to the above for the addition of morning and afternoon teas.

Special foods or menus may be more.

TRANSPORT BY BUS

We recommend a local bus company Sheltons (49921745) from Dungog for your transport requirements. We have a list of their current costs to and from Newcastle and Sydney. Ask us or get a quote from them and compare.
