Adjacent to the Lodge are self-contained cottages which are available for staff or staff/students if your group comprises more than 46 people.  "Melia" accommodates four people and "Overflow" up to seven.

In keeping with our Lightfoot ethos, we are on 100% Greenpower and have solar-powered hot water and night verandah-lights.  The Lodge Kitchen and Melia have raintank water supply as well as water from Chichester Reservoir.

The Lodge is situated on Wangat Wildlife Refuge, a forested 100 acres with frontage to the beautiful Chichester River.  There is an extensive network of walking trails, look-out, several wonderful swimming holes, 18 species of frogs, rich birdlife, possums, pademelons, land mullets, goannas.......

What you need to bring
For the Lodge, Melia and Overflow guests are asked to bring their own sheets (or sleeping bags), pillowcases, towels and toiletries. Pillows, blankets and doonas are provided. To keep garbage to a minimum, if self-catering, guests are requested to bring fresh food or food/beverages in recyclable or re-useable containers wherever possible.

A comprehensive list of what to bring for schools to give to parents is in the Teacher's Guidebook.

As Wangat is a Wildlife Refuge, domestic pets are not permitted.
