Our Family Holiday weeks offer a great, fun-filled program where up to seven families gather at the Lodge and we run half-day bushwalks, wildlife games or puzzle trails and an evening activity for the whole family. In 2010 the cost for the Monday-Friday program and accommodation is $330 for a 2-bed room, $620 for a 4-bed room and $740 for a 6-bed room (self-catering).
The Creativity Camp gives children relaxation and fun in nature as we create art-works, puppets, music or stories inspired by the natural world. In 2010 the 3-night program and accommodation costs $495 for a 4-bed room and $585 for a 6-bed room (self-catering). Includes art materials.

Bushwalking Weeks
Our bushwalking weeks run mid-week between Monday and Friday on demand, subject to Lodge vacancies. Clubs and groups of friends can book their prefered week.
Prices for 2010 are $295 per person for accommodation, walks program and four evening meals. Club bookings of 12-16 people attract a surcharge of $20 per person. Max. numbers are 22 participants. Each day we take our guests to a special part of the Barrington Tops Rainforest area. Contact us for details of the walks or to book a program.
Earth Healing Day Saturday 11th December 2010. 9am-dusk. $60 per person (morning and afternoon tea included), $5 for dahl and rice supper, bring a packed lunch, swimmers, towel, intention to bring deep, honest healing to our relationship with nature. A beautiful sequence of rites and meditations in the Lodge and forest to connect us spiritually to earth's vibration and a sense of oneness. A Gathering of Minds - Nature and Sustainability Program
A program that enables you to meet like minds as we explore ways of treading lightly on the planet through discussion, workshop exercises and trips to local places of interest such as Chichester Dam, sustainable homes and organic gardens. This four day course includes plenty of time to appreciate the beautiful surroundings of Wangat.
A great program for a U3A club or group of like-minded friends to explore. Monday 11th (noon) -Thursday 14th April (3pm) 2011

Winter Solstice at Wangat Lodge

Deep Breath Recharge
This is our unique annual gathering for those wishing to recharge their environmental batteries at the end of the year. First weekend in December...put it in your diary! Reflections on the past year, where human society is heading and exploring our personal and collective contributions to a sustainable future. Walks, talks, wholesome food and good company in the beautiful surrounds of Wangat Wildlife Refuge. $70 food + $50 accommodation.
Dungog Film Festival 26-29 May 2011. Dungog turns into a mini-Cannes for the fifth annual celebration of Australian film. A wealth of films, live script-reading, director interviews, dinner-parties and street fun centred around our historic Dungog Cinema (The James Theatre).
