Little Wild Things!

A great family holiday to help you and your little ones get in touch with nature in a friendly atmosphere of exploration and relaxation. We have accommodation for 6 or 7 families depending on numbers.  A great program for a group of pre-school or kindy friends where the parents can have fun together and get a break too.


   
Includes Lodge accommodation, a program of morning activities designed for little kids aged 4-7, optional afternoon activities for adults and all the wonders of staying on Wangat Wildlife Refuge!


10am-12pm (all ages)
3-4.30pm (for adults)
6.30-7.15pm (all ages)

Tuesday

Arrivals from 2pm. 
Ice-breaker sensory games in the bush (all ages for Tuesday afternoon program)
Spotlighting for possums and pademelons

Wednesday
Island Loop Walk with fun bush games, face-painting and stories on the way. 
Nature Meditation
Frogging expedition to Mudbrick Dam

Thursday
Dip-netting for water creatures at Mudbrick Dam
Primitive skills workshop - fire, shelter, craft, tracking, bush tucker, cordage etc.
Story-telling around the fire

Friday
Lantana Wrestling and Closing Ceremony.  Departures by 11.30am




6-bed room $600 for the 3 nights
(has two single beds that can make a double, 2 sets of bunks).
4-bed room $490 for the week
(has two single beds and 1 bunk-bed).

Facilities: self-catering, shared bathrooms along the verandah, large hall, fully-equipped communal kitchen, BBQ, trails to lookout and river.

What to bring:
bed linen (pillows, blankets and doonas provided)
towels and toiletries
torches
hot-water bottle for winter months
day-pack
enclosed footwear for activities in the bush
waterproof jackets
food and beverages (all Lodge water is of drinking-water quality)
