The aim of our LightFootCreativity program is to provide an enjoyable variety of hands-on activities:
to provide opportunities for children to learn new ways of developing and communicating artistic ideas.
to enable children to express their creativity in a supportive, dynamic and inspiring environment.
to build children's skills in constructive teamwork and co-operation.

LightFootprograms strive to be non-sexist and non-competitive,

Your group arrives at Wangat Lodge around 10am and meets Lodge staff.
Welcome and Morning Tea
Texta "tattooing" of names on hands.
Introduction to our LightFoot Creativity Camp program and safety talk.
Goanna Claw's Footsteps Walk
A nature ramble exploring forest and river with story-telling, bush tucker, mime and ochre-rock face-painting.
Picnic Lunch (Back at the Lodge around 1pm).
Craft Workshop - mask-making using natural materials found in the forest.

We recommend old clothes and comfy, past-their-prime
footwear.Please also bring reliable raincoats,
a spare set of clothes (to be left in the bus), packed lunch, refillable drink
bottle,insect repellent, sun-hat and
sun-screen.
Departure from
Wangat Lodge is usually around 2.30pm.Our charge
for the Creativity Day Trip is $15.00 per person (two teachers are free of
charge) or a minimum fee of$500.
