A bushman’s holiday

Owning Wangat Lodge and getting away for a holiday is not an easy combination, but Ken and his 6½-year-old daughter Freya spent a week of the September ’14 school holidays on an eight-day trip to the semi-arid landscape beyond Bourke. This involved doing precisely the sort of things they enjoy doing at Wangat – bushwalks, wildlife-watching, star-gazing – with seven nights in a small tent linking it all together.

Ken has put his photographs and Freya’s into a PowerPoint presentation if you would like to see the images in higher resolution. It can be downloaded from Dropbox – click here
